RELIABLE AND ACCURATE CORRECTIONS	Copy editing and proof-reading require attention to register, genre, interpersonal factors and lexicogrammatical detail. When editing English texts, I ensure that the intentions of the author are met through careful liaison with the customer before making any corrections. The aim is to provide a polished final text, which both captures the intentions of the author and expresses the message in a natural and accurate manner.
NO HIDDEN COSTS	No charges are made for consulting references (such as specialist dictionaries). Footnotes and text within tables are included in the word count, but numbers are not. You will receive a full price quotation after sending the original text or providing at least three sample pages of the text.
EDITING AND PROOF-READING RATES	Customers are able to negotiate the cost and payment details before the correction begins. Charges and price quotations are made per word. This pricing policy provides fair, transparent and rapid estimates to be made. Prices are calculated on a number of factors: Turnaround time (see below). The writing quality of the original text. The genre of the text. The length of the text. The format of the original text and the edited/corrected copy.
TURNAROUND TIME	Proof-reading and editing of texts are normally completed within four working days of receipt of the original text. If the deadline is earlier, prices increase as follows: An additional charge of 10% applies for deadlines within 72 hours of completion. An additional charge of 20% applies for deadlines within 48 hours of completion. An additional charge of 30% applies for deadlines within 24 hours of completion. The above additional charges apply in relation to 12:00 noon (GMT) on the day of the deadline.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE	All deadlines are meticulously observed: the emphasis is on quality, accuracy and reliability.
