About the tutor

With over 12 years' experience of teaching English and designing and coordinating language courses, I have worked with students from over 30 countries.

I currently teach English for Medical Purposes to doctors, pharmacists and undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France.

During the summer months, I teach English for Academic Purposes, coordinate the university writing module and train overseas teachers at the University of Exeter, England.

I have a proven record of excellence as a teacher in the following areas: English as a Foreign Language, English for Medical Purposes, English for Academic Purposes, English for Business Purposes and English Literature.

I have taught English in the UK, France, Spain and Greece in the following professional fields: medicine, pharmacy, science, engineering, law and business.

I have over 3 years' experience teaching English Language and Literature at GCSE level and am an examiner in Higher Level English with the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
